Job Summary: Level 1 Welding Inspector responsible for performing visual inspections and non-destructive testing on welds, ensuring compliance with standards and codes. Key Highlights: 1. Perform visual inspections and non-destructive testing on welds 2. Interpret results and issue technical reports 3. Ensure compliance with inspection plans and acceptance criteria **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform visual inspections of welds (pre-, during, and post-welding), evaluating preparation, profile, fusion, and potential discontinuities. * Conduct liquid penetrant and ultrasonic testing in accordance with approved procedures and applicable standards. * Interpret results and issue technical reports with full traceability. * Ensure compliance with inspection plans, hold points, and acceptance criteria defined by the code (ASME, AWS, API, etc.). * Report non-conformities and recommend corrective actions. * Qualify welders in welding procedures. **Technical Requirements:** * Valid SNQC/IS – FBTS certification as Level 1 Welding Inspector. * Proven experience in weld inspection and non-destructive testing. * Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME Section V, AWS D1.1, API 1104, ASTM, ISO). **Desired Competencies:** * Ability to interpret standards and apply acceptance criteria. * Organization and attention to detail for issuing technical reports. * Ability to work in a team and communicate results clearly. * Commitment to safety and quality Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire (CLT) Compensation: R$10.000,00 - R$12.000,00 per month Benefits: * Dental insurance * Food basket * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Food voucher * Transportation allowance Selection Question(s): * Do you have proven experience in this role? * Are you qualified in ultrasonic testing?
