Your next challenge could be right here! ✨ What you’ll do here: * Prepare, analyze, and review railway infrastructure project budgets, covering earthworks, special structures, drainage, railway superstructure, and auxiliary systems; * Conduct critical analysis and preparation of Unit Price Compositions (UPCs), evaluating inputs, coefficients, productivity rates, equipment, and teams involved; * Verify the technical and economic consistency of budgets, including analysis of quantities, underlying assumptions, construction methodologies, and coherence between direct and indirect costs; * Assess productivity rates, equipment and labor histograms, identifying bottlenecks, execution risks, and optimization opportunities; * Perform technical and economic analysis of construction proposals, including compatibility among detailed design documents, quantity take-off sheets, and measurement criteria; * Verify alignment between design documents and quantity take-off sheets, identifying discrepancies, omissions, overlaps, and inconsistencies; * Develop and review measurement and payment criteria to ensure contractual clarity, adherence to designs, and mitigation of future risks; * Prepare ABC curves to identify major CAPEX drivers, supporting sensitivity analyses and prioritization of optimization efforts; * Conduct cost optimization studies, proposing technical, construction, and logistical alternatives aimed at reducing CAPEX and improving project economic viability; * Interface with Project, Planning, Construction, Procurement, and Contracting departments to align technical approaches, validate assumptions, and consolidate budgets; * Provide technical support during discussions with suppliers, designers, contractors, and other internal Rumo departments; * Support preparation of technical and executive materials for reports to Executive Management, including comparative analyses, cost scenarios, and associated risks; * Drive continuous improvement of internal budgeting, cost estimation, and unit price composition standardization processes. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields; * Residency in Indaiatuba or nearby areas; * Proven experience in infrastructure project budgeting, preferably railway or large-scale projects; * Experience preparing and analyzing UPCs, budget spreadsheets, and quantity take-offs; * Ability to critically analyze designs, technical proposals, and construction methodologies; * Willingness to travel as required; * Proficiency in advanced Excel, budgeting systems (e.g., SICRO, SINAPI or similar), COMPOR 90 or equivalent software, and technical drawing interpretation.
