For this position, your mission will be to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and safety of Makro Engineering’s mobile equipment fleet through the development and management of maintenance plans, failure analysis, and predictive programs (with emphasis on oil analysis), as well as acting as the technical responsible person for rigging plans to ensure safe, standardized lifting operations compliant with regulations and legal requirements. We can’t wait to find out if it’s you! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop, review, and optimize preventive, predictive, and lubrication maintenance plans for cranes, yellow equipment, and trucks; * Structure and maintain up-to-date systematic inspection plans (checklists, inspection routes, intervention criteria, and disposal criteria); * Conduct medium- and high-impact failure analyses (RCFA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA/RCM), proposing actions to eliminate recurrence; * Develop and monitor loss profile metrics (availability, reliability, MTBF, MTTR, unplanned stoppages), identifying root causes and prioritizing action plans; * Coordinate and interpret predictive maintenance programs, focusing on oil analysis, vibration, thermography, and other applicable techniques; * Monitor and analyze oil analysis reports, correlating results with failure modes, operating conditions, and component service life; * Plan and conduct field technical inspections, issuing reports and intervention recommendations; * Prepare, review, and issue technical reports and opinions regarding integrity, operational fitness, and compliance with standards and legal requirements; * Act as the Technical Responsible Person for the development, analysis, and approval of rigging plans, including issuing ART where applicable; * Ensure rigging plans comply with legislation and safety standards related to load handling and lifting equipment; * Collaborate with operations, occupational safety, and maintenance teams to define standards, procedures, and work instructions; * Use Totvs Protheus for registering, controlling, and analyzing maintenance orders, plans, backlog, costs, and KPIs; * Support maintenance cost control by evaluating variances, proposing optimizations, and contributing to budget planning. **Requirements and Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Advanced Office suite proficiency; Solid experience in developing and managing preventive, predictive, and systematic inspection plans; Experience in failure analysis, loss profiling, and reliability indicators; Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques, especially lubricating oil analysis; Familiarity with regulations and standards related to load handling and lifting equipment; Prior experience with maintenance management systems, particularly Totvs Protheus; Ability to act as Technical Responsible Person for rigging plans, including issuing ART. **Desirable:** Relevant experience (fleet maintenance), preferably in engineering or transportation companies; Measurement and monitoring instruments / metrology; procurement; lubrication; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; electro-electronic systems; Intermediate / technical English; Postgraduate degree; Specialization. **Additional Information** Contract type: PJ (individual contractor), terms negotiable.
