You'll join the team full\-time and help build world\-class cross\-platform applications, taking ownership of developing high\-performance desktop experiences with Flutter and Dart, and working closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to bring ideas to life. REQUIREMENTS * 5\+ years of experience in software development, including 3\+ years with Flutter/Dart. * Experience with desktop Flutter development (Windows, macOS) and a good understanding of the Flutter engine. * Proven track record of shipping production Flutter apps used by real users at scale. * Strong grasp of state management patterns and clean architecture principles. * Understanding of integrating GraphQL and REST APIs, managing authentication, and handling real\-time data where needed. * Knowledge of CI/CD tools, Git\-based workflows, and writing unit/integration tests for reliability. * Strong understanding of responsive UI design and cross\-platform development nuances for desktop environments. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and self\-direction. The ability to drive initiatives and deliver without constant oversight. NICE TO HAVE * Experience with C\+\+ programming is a strong plus. * Familiarity with GraphQL clients such as Ferry, Artemis, or GraphQL Flutter. * Hands\-on experience with custom Flutter engine builds, native plugins, or embedding APIs. * Knowledge of OpenGL, Metal, or Vulkan, and how they interact with Flutter’s rendering stack. * Experience with profiling tools (DevTools, Instruments, etc.) for identifying performance and memory bottlenecks. * Experience building complex animations, custom shaders, or GPU\-accelerated UI effects. * Background in systems programming, embedded, or real\-time graphics development. * Contributions to the Flutter open\-source ecosystem or custom engine\-level performance improvements. * Experience with Firebase, native platform integrations, or app store deployment workflows. * Open\-source contributions to the Flutter ecosystem or experience mentoring junior engineers. RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, build, and maintain Flutter applications across desktop platforms. * Collaborate cross\-functionally with design, backend, and product teams to deliver seamless, delightful user experiences. * Architect scalable, testable, and maintainable codebases, using best practices for performance and modularity. * Integrate with GraphQL and REST APIs, implementing robust data handling, caching, and error recovery strategies. * Drive engineering excellence by setting coding standards, reviewing pull requests, and mentoring other developers. * Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate build, testing, and deployment processes. * Analyze and proactively improve app performance, addressing bugs, regressions, and UX bottlenecks. * Own your work end\-to\-end, from concept to release.
