Responsibilities of the Laboratory Assistant include: * Cleaning and disinfecting workbenches; * Organizing compounding utensils on workbenches and washing used instruments; * Weighing raw materials for formulation production; * Performing formulation compounding; * Filling formulations into appropriate, pre-determined packaging; * Labeling formulations; * Assisting in inventory control of raw materials, packaging, and various supplies, reporting any discrepancies or procurement needs to supervision; * Verifying and recording scale weights; * Archiving compounding orders in an orderly and practical manner; * Conducting raw material stock reconciliation upon request to maintain accurate inventory; * Performing other related duties as required by the immediate supervisor.
