Job Summary: CLAM Meio Ambiente is seeking a Purchaser to strengthen local Supply activities for environmental contracts in the North region, ensuring agility and competitiveness. Key Highlights: 1. Lead procurement processes and negotiate with local suppliers. 2. Develop, qualify, and approve suppliers in the state of Pará. 3. Act as the interface between local operations and supply coordination. **Purchaser – Parauapebas/PA** **CLAM Meio Ambiente** **On-site work \| Parauapebas – PA** About the Position CLAM Meio Ambiente is seeking a Purchaser to work in Parauapebas/PA, directly supporting environmental contracts in the North region. This position is strategic to strengthen the local Supply team’s operations, ensuring agility, competitiveness, and development of the supplier chain in the state of Pará, aligned with the headquarters’ Supply Coordination. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead procurement processes for local materials, equipment, and services; * Conduct quotations, negotiations, and technical and commercial evaluations; * Develop, qualify, and approve suppliers in the state of Pará; * Conduct technical visits and travel for prospecting and developing new partners; * Ensure compliance with internal supply policies and regulatory requirements; * Support headquarters with market information, cost analysis, and supplier intelligence; * Act as the interface between local operations and supply coordination; * Monitor delivery timelines, contracts, and supplier performance. **Requirements** * Technical education (minimum); Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields preferred; * Proven experience as a Purchaser in service-providing companies; * Experience providing services to Vale will be considered an advantage; * Willingness to travel within the state of Pará; * Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B); * Proficiency in negotiation techniques and supplier management; * Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel; * Experience in decentralized procurement processes and field-based operations. **Advantages** * Knowledge of supply chain practices related to Degraded Area Recovery (RAD); * Experience in procurement for environmental monitoring contracts; * Familiarity with the supplier chain in the state of Pará; * Experience in remote operational environments. **Benefits that Care for You** * Meal and Coffee Allowance * Transportation Allowance * Medical and Dental Assistance * Education Allowance * Life Insurance * Wellhub (Gympass) Join CLAM CLAM — A unique way of doing things sustainably.
