The stretch is one of the main corridors for transporting grain production from the Central-West and Northern regions, linking agribusiness output to the port terminals of the North Arc (Tapajós River). The contract spans 10 years and includes over R$ 2 billion in investments allocated to operations, maintenance, monitoring, conservation, implementation of improvements, and service provision to users.
