Summary of Main Responsibilities – Welder * Interpret technical drawings and specifications to perform welding and cutting; * Perform shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) on sheet metal and structural steel; * Perform cutting using oxy-fuel cutting equipment; * Select electrodes, nozzles, and consumables according to material and job requirements; * Inspect welds to identify potential defects or discontinuities; * Comply with safety regulations (work at heights and in confined spaces); * Maintain organization, cleanliness, and preservation of the workplace, equipment, and materials; * Work in accordance with the Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management System guidelines; * Participate in training programs for technical and professional development.
