Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing material deliveries and pickups, operating vehicles, organizing loads, and ensuring the safety and maintenance of the fleet. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform material deliveries and pickups responsibly 2. Maneuver vehicles and organize loads attentively 3. Ensure the safety and maintenance of vehicles and equipment Deliver materials to customers. Pick up materials from suppliers and/or customers. Maneuver vehicles. Load, unload, and organize company or third-party vehicles. Assist customers during deliveries. Accompany and verify loading and unloading of vehicles with the checker and/or customer. Instruct, coordinate, and assist the helper team in loading and unloading vehicles. Perform load tallying. Secure, protect, and tarp loads. Inspect, assess, and report on the condition of equipment and vehicles. Conduct, accompany, and report vehicle entry and exit checklists. Ensure vehicle and equipment safety and maintenance by arranging cleaning and adjustments, as well as requesting repairs when necessary. Care for, clean, and maintain vehicles and loaded products, keeping them always clean and in perfect condition for use and delivery. Inform the supervisor about delivery site conditions. Inform the supervisor if any irregularities are suspected or found regarding the normal condition of vehicles and equipment. Practice safe driving conduct in accordance with CTB regulations, safeguarding people, vehicles, and cargo. Stay updated on CTB regulations and legislation. Report fuel and lubricant refueling needs and tire pressure adjustments.
