Develop and manage a high-performance logistics team. **ABGroup** is supporting a client in recruiting a **Logistics Manager** with a strategic, analytical, and results-oriented profile, responsible for leading and integrating all logistics operations — warehousing, material handling, transportation, inventory planning and control — ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and service-level excellence. The professional will act both strategically and tactically, promoting continuous improvement, process innovation, and alignment of logistics with business objectives. **Responsibilities:** * Define the logistics department’s strategy, establishing goals, performance indicators (KPIs), and action plans aligned with the company’s strategic plan. * Manage warehousing, material handling, transportation, inventory planning and control operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. * Lead, develop, and evaluate the logistics team, fostering a high-performance, engaged, and results-focused environment. * Analyze operational and financial indicators to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement. * Design and implement logistics optimization projects, focusing on innovation, automation, and continuous improvement. * Control and optimize logistics costs, ensuring efficient resource utilization and budget compliance. * Ensure a high service level for internal and external customers, guaranteeing timely and high-quality deliveries. * Collaborate closely with Procurement, Sales, Finance, IT, and other departments to promote operational and strategic alignment. * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and legislation governing logistics activities. * Monitor operational risks and implement preventive and corrective actions as needed. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields. * Postgraduate degree or specialization in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related areas is considered a plus. * Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics management, including team leadership and leading improvement projects. * Solid knowledge of warehousing, transportation, inventory planning and control. * Proficiency in logistics systems (WMS, TMS, ERP) and data analysis tools. * Knowledge of cost management, performance indicators, and budget planning. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience implementing logistics transformation or restructuring projects. * Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar). * Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and advanced data analytics. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Leadership and team development * Results orientation * Strategic thinking * Analytical ability * Adaptability and resilience * Communication and negotiation * Decision-making **Notes:** Please note that, upon interview approval, the candidate may be subject to a credit protection agency database check as part of the validation and security process for hiring.
