About the Role: Alumar is seeking a professional and talented individual to support the Port Directorates in Contract Management, aiming to ensure compliance and efficiency in processes. *Other responsibilities of this role include: * Manage the full contract lifecycle for the Port Directorates—from initial demand through to closure—ensuring proper execution, change management, insurance, guarantees, and contractual compliance. * Lead and supervise the contract coordinator team, serving as a technical reference, guiding strategies, promoting continuous development, and ensuring efficient use of internal and external resources (including FTEs). * Define and implement the contract management strategy, including risk-and-opportunity matrix, responsibility mapping, and critical analyses of processes, activities, and outcomes. * Negotiate and conduct detailed analyses of claims and disputes, ensuring thorough identification of deviations, protection of Alumar’s interests, and maintenance of contractual balance. * Provide technical leadership in managing contractors, ensuring safety practices, productivity, innovation, optimization, and operational support. * Support operational centers by technically reviewing requests, influencing decisions with a focus on sustainable solutions, and reinforcing alignment with Alumar’s purpose, values, and culture. What You Can Bring to This Role: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, or related fields; * MBA, postgraduate degree, and/or specialization in Ports, Industrial Maintenance, or related areas; * Intermediate English and/or Spanish; * Experience in Contract Management; * Experience in Ports and/or industrial maintenance/operations; * People Management; Negotiation Skills; Clear Communication and Analytical Ability.
