Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and fitting of parts. Select the appropriate shielding gas and consumables for the welding process. Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment. Perform welding of metallic parts in accordance with quality and safety standards. Previous experience as a Welding Operator, Structural Metal Welder, Pipeline Welder, or Welding Technician may indicate suitability for some of the duties associated with this position.
