




OPEN POSITION – OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY TECHNICIAN? ? Work location: Imperatriz/MA * JOB SUMMARY Plan and carry out activities related to Occupational Safety, aiming to ensure conditions that eliminate, reduce and/or neutralize the risks of workplace accidents and/or occupational diseases, in compliance with applicable Labor and Social Security legislation. Draft, propose, and disseminate internal safety standards and regulations. Guide employees on the functioning of the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA) and Emergency Brigades. Keep area licenses up to date to comply with current legislation. * JOB SUMMARY * Identify hazardous conditions and take necessary measures to eliminate, confine, and neutralize such hazards, as well as train and raise employee awareness regarding safe work practices. + Prepare and implement a work plan for occupational safety activities, identifying risks and adopting control measures (inhibit, eliminate, substitute, confine, neutralize) for employees. + Prepare and deliver technical training programs (theoretical and practical), developed jointly with each team’s manager, on occupational safety topics, such as: DDS – Safety Dialogue and Ergonomic Training, to maximize comfort, safety, and efficient performance, including awareness-raising and dissemination of safety standards, ensuring all employees are identified, trained, qualified, and authorized to perform their tasks. + Ensure employees have all required personal protective equipment (PPE), and indicate and inspect fire protection equipment when conditions require it, aiming to reduce risks to workers’ safety and physical integrity. Collaborate on building modifications or new company installations to create safer working conditions. + Analyze and identify causes of occupational diseases and the environmental conditions under which they occurred, taking legally required actions to prevent recurrence and correct unhealthy conditions causing such diseases. + Promote and develop health, safety, and environmental campaigns for the company and/or specific activities, aimed at disseminating occupational safety and hygiene standards, as well as informing and raising worker awareness about unhealthy, hazardous, and arduous activities, while monitoring and evaluating training and dissemination activities.
