Opportunities for technical and professional development **Occupational Safety Technician – Civil Construction** ? **Location:** CAMAÇARI – BAHIA ? **Work Model:** On-site | CLT ? **Level:** Operational–Tactical **ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY** We are seeking an **Occupational Safety Technician** to work directly at the **construction site**, focusing on **accident prevention**, compliance with **legal regulations**, strengthening the **safety culture**, and supporting site leadership—ensuring a safe, organized, and **Machine**-compliant environment. **JOB MISSION** Ensure the practical and continuous application of occupational safety regulations at the construction site, promoting accident prevention, legal compliance, and the development of a robust safety culture—contributing to personnel physical integrity and project performance. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (FOCUSED ON SITE RESULTS)** **Site Safety Management** * Monitor daily activities at the construction site. * Identify risks, deviations, and unsafe conditions, taking preventive and corrective actions. * Ensure compliance with applicable Regulatory Standards (NRs) for civil construction. **Legal Documentation and Control** * Maintain and update mandatory Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) documents: + PPRA / PGR + PCMSO + APR + DDS + Work Permits * Support internal and external inspections and audits. **Training and DDS** * Conduct Daily Safety Dialogues (DDS). * Support and deliver mandatory training (NR-06, NR-18, NR-35, NR-01, among others). * Guide both direct and third-party employees on safety best practices. **Third-Party Oversight** * Verify safety documentation of subcontracted companies. * Monitor critical activities and high-risk services. * Ensure third parties comply with Machine’s safety standards. **PPE and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE) Management** * Control the distribution, use, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Inspect installation and maintenance of Collective Protective Equipment (CPE) on-site. * Guide teams on correct equipment usage. **Indicators, Incidents, and Continuous Improvement** * Record, monitor, and analyze incidents, near-misses, and accidents. * Support preparation of safety reports and performance indicators. * Propose continuous improvement actions for site safety. **EXPECTED JOB RESULTS (MACHINE MODEL)** * Reduction in accidents, incidents, and near-misses. * An organized, safe, and legally compliant construction site. * Teams aware of and engaged in the safety culture. * Full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. * Zero shutdowns or penalties due to safety failures. * Integration of safety into daily operations and operational decision-making. **TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS** * Completed technical education in **Occupational Safety**. * Active registration with the **Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE)**. * Field experience at construction sites (civil construction). * Practical knowledge of NRs applicable to civil construction. * Availability for on-site work at construction projects. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Experience in corporate, industrial, or large-scale construction projects. * Experience with audits and inspections. * Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management systems. * Educator profile with strong communication skills and a proactive, preventive attitude. **WHAT WE OFFER** * Direct involvement in significant and structured construction projects. * A work environment that values safety, organization, and people. * Opportunities for technical and professional development. * Market-competitive remuneration + benefits. **HOW TO APPLY** ?
