Act as an agent for the development of other team members by providing support and training, aiming at process standardization and delivery quality. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor the development of engineering projects within the area, analyzing established specifications to propose alternatives and solutions considering technical aspects, quality, timelines, and costs; * Operate diesel generators, synchronization systems, and operational controllers; * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and analyze mechanical and electrical failures in diesel and gas engines, generators, controls, circuit breakers, and auxiliary equipment; * Conduct repairs and analyze mechanical failures across all systems of diesel and gas generator sets, including fuel supply, air intake, lubrication, cooling, exhaust, turbochargers, as well as engine power components (cylinder head, piston, connecting rod, bearings, jet cooler); * Participate in major field overhauls of engines, including assembly and disassembly of generator sets; * Troubleshoot and analyze electrical failures in AC/DC power systems, ignition systems, instrumentation, and engine control systems; * Interpret electrical schematics and repair contactors, motors, relays, generator components, and control components; * Analyze failures, repair, and replace control systems, relays, digital and analog inputs and outputs; * Issue maintenance reports and parts requisitions with correct manufacturer part numbers; receive and inspect maintenance parts; * Provide input, modifications, and improvements to preventive, predictive, and inspection route maintenance plans, and implement corresponding adjustments; * Consolidate monthly performance indicators, analyze equipment history, conduct failure analysis, and establish systemic actions—jointly with the maintenance team—to eliminate recurrence of failures; * Perform intermediate diagnostics of mechanical or electrical problems and failures; * Assist, support, and train team members and service providers; * Perform job-related activities in strict compliance with the organization’s occupational health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures, and consistently use all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the position and department.
