Promotion of a welcoming and secure environment **What is the Software Engineering area at Porto Bank?** It is the area dedicated to developing projects covering a broad range of financial services, including Personal Loans and Financing, Public and Private Payroll-Deductible Loans, Wholesale and Revolving Credit. This team works on the design, implementation, and maintenance of innovative systems, aiming to deliver efficient and secure solutions tailored to the diverse needs of the Bank’s customers and partners. **Responsibilities and Duties** Specify and implement solutions—from conceptualization and solution design, architectural definitions, through to validation of release and production deployment; Support the software development process by providing technical and business information about applications, assisting in the development and maintenance of functionalities; Maintain source code technical quality and compliance with standards, policies, and procedures established by Software Architecture, resolving non-conformities as they arise; Manage development deliverables’ versions across all phases using specific tools and techniques; Support test strategy and evaluation of results based on documentation prepared, as well as assist in defining the required test data set; Transfer knowledge to the support team by consolidating system documentation. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS Cloud, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Serverless Framework, API Gateway, and others; * Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot); * Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and software engineering practices; * REST and RESTful architectural standards; * Concepts of API-First development, OpenAPI Specification (Swagger), API Gateways, and integration architecture; * Knowledge of container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS); * Understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) practices; * GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube; * Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, RDS) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.); * Familiarity with Agile methodologies: SCRUM, Kanban.
