This role requires acting as the liaison between the business unit’s operations, internal departments, and international leadership team, participating in the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and charts to evaluate performance. **What You’ll Do:** * Develop deep business knowledge, clearly identifying the various impacts that configurations, scenarios, and agreements have on financial statements and the company’s overall strategy. * Support strategic decisions of senior management with comprehensive analyses and presentations, combining data science with financial insight; assist in developing and implementing solutions to support strategic initiatives. * Maintain comprehensive and complex financial and business models. * Prepare financial analyses and statistical studies using established tools and frameworks. * Collaborate with end users of models to identify necessary updates, revisions, or improvements and communicate them appropriately to the Director. * Work with the Senior Analyst on mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and other activities requiring financial analysis. * Collect and format data from customers, competitors, industries, macroeconomics, and other relevant reports to assist in building the strategic dashboard. * Conduct ongoing research and analysis of industry and local market trends and practices, as well as the current plan, to formulate recommendations for improving and enhancing planning. * Prepare weekly and monthly executive reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs). * Collaborate with the business unit team to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), compare them against benchmarks, and collect data to assess variances. * Maintain various financial, operational, and strategic models to assist executives of the International Organization in planning and executing growth initiatives, understanding international market strengths, and providing data on international telecommunications markets. * Support the team leader by working closely with international operations and other departments as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess current and historical KPI trends, highlight emerging trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances. * Evaluate large datasets, organizing, formatting, and cleaning them as needed to provide material for analysis. Research internal and external data sources and prepare recommendations for data extraction for analytical studies. * Learn about the features and requirements of data systems and repositories and work with company subsidiaries to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Identify root causes and solutions for data quality issues. * Support the development of business intelligence models by performing data mining analyses and evaluating data models. * Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using SQL and Azure Big Data technologies.
