Ready to get started? **With us, you can.** **About This Opportunity** WSP Brazil is launching a search for a **Hydrogeology Intern**, to be based in **Belo Horizonte/MG**. **Responsibilities for This Role** * Support the compilation, organization, and interpretation of hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical data from diverse sources. * Assist in developing databases, graphs, thematic maps, and technical figures. * Collaborate on preparing reports, spreadsheets, technical notes, and presentations for ongoing projects. * Support numerical hydrogeological modeling activities (FEFLOW and Visual MODFLOW), including input data preparation and basic result analysis. * Provide support for tasks related to water resources, hydrogeology, hydrogeochemistry, geotechnics, and water quality. * Develop technical knowledge of fundamental hydrogeology concepts, best monitoring practices, and applicable regulations. **Required Qualifications** * Currently pursuing a degree in Geology or Engineering (Environmental, Mining, Civil, or related fields). * Interest in building a career in hydrogeology and water resources. * Ability to work with data, organize information, and prepare documentation. * Proficiency in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Strong written communication skills and attention to detail. * Availability to intern in a hybrid model at the Belo Horizonte office. **Preferred Qualifications** * Basic understanding of hydrogeology, structural geology, hydrogeochemistry, or water resources. * Introductory knowledge of GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and technical drawing tools (AutoCAD). * Basic statistical analysis skills, including simple organization, processing, and evaluation of datasets. * Initial familiarity with numerical modeling tools (MODFLOW, FEFLOW). * Introductory knowledge of programming tools applicable to data analysis (Python, R, SQL, or similar). * Intermediate English and/or Spanish (desirable). **What WSP Brazil Offers:** * You can join our “Own It” program, enabling you to purchase shares of WSP Global through monthly payroll deductions and benefit from an additional 50% company contribution (up to a defined maximum amount).
