Perform tax parameterizations according to internal guidelines. Verify tax data on incoming documents. Organize and maintain updated physical and electronic tax files. Verify tax payment slips received from the accounting office. Review information related to ICMS, IPI, PIS, and Cofins calculations. Address internal requests related to tax processes. Verify tax classification of goods (NCM). Perform routines related to tax substitution, as instructed. Monitor updates regarding tax incentives and special tax regimes. Provide information for tracking tax burden and operational impacts. Identify registration or parameterization inconsistencies and flag them for analysis. Previous experience as an Accounting Assistant, Tax Assistant, Compliance Assistant, or Audit Assistant may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities in this position. Bachelor’s degree in progress.
