Check the details about this position: * Escort patients for examinations, verifying admitted patients in the internal system (RIS/PACS) or contacting hospitalized patients or those in the Emergency Department; notify the responsible person to pick up the patient at the CDI (Diagnostic Center) after the examination to continue care and ensure scheduled examinations are performed; * Verify medical orders by checking requests in the system and confirming the examination to be performed, ensuring patient safety and accuracy; * Organize examination rooms, verifying availability of required supplies and performing a checklist of all materials used at the start of each shift to guarantee necessary items for examinations; * Confirm patient readiness and whether proper preparation for the procedure has been completed, contributing to patient safety; prepare patients for examinations by guiding them on changing into standard gowns, initial positioning on the stretcher, and other necessary procedures per established routine for each type of examination; * Manage departmental supplies, informing supervisors when new supplies are needed to avoid disruptions in patient examinations; handle departmental phone calls, stating the hospital name, staff member’s name, greeting, and—if the call is from another department—informing that the call will be transferred, specifying the extension number to which it will be routed, ensuring courteous and effective service; * Maintain communication with the Reception team, informing them of the examination room wait time so it can be relayed to patients when their registration is opened at reception. **Requirements and Qualifications** If you believe that **care** begins with preparation and intention, this could be your place.
