Description: We are seeking a Mining Supervisor with a technical background, results-oriented mindset, and strong field presence to lead open-pit gold mine operations. This professional will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient execution in compliance with operational and geotechnical parameters, leading teams and contributing to achieving production targets. Responsibilities and duties * Plan daily mining fronts based on short-term plans and operational conditions. * Monitor blasting, excavation, loading, and hauling operations in real time, ensuring productivity and technical compliance. * Assign crews and allocate equipment according to activity priorities and operational availability. * Conduct daily team meetings to align goals, safety protocols, and operational discipline. * Monitor performance indicators (KPIs), proposing data-driven improvements through analysis. * Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards and best practices. * Collaborate with geology, fleet, and production departments by providing field information and technical support. * Promote team development through operational training and reinforcing a culture of excellence. Requirements and qualifications * Technical degree in Mining, Geology, or related fields; * Solid experience in open-pit mining, preferably in gold mining; * Experience managing operational teams and directly supervising mining fronts; * Proficiency in blasting, excavation, hauling, and ore quality control procedures; * Ability to read geological maps and mining plans, understanding of applied geotechnics in mine operations, and knowledge of operational performance indicators and productivity control; * Intermediate-level Office Suite and integrated systems; * Valid Brazilian driver's license (Category B); * Availability for travel and on-site lodging when necessary. 2510230202201483066
