With the power of many curious minds, we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and make an even greater impact together. **Intermediate Technical Assistant – Document Control** **Work location:** Barcarena/PA **Area:** Engineering / Projects **Job type:** On-site **Responsibilities and Tasks:** * Follow internal procedures of the unit or plant. * Search and locate documents within corporate systems. * Support project teams with reference documents. * Print and organize technical documents. * Verify that documentation from contractors/suppliers meets required standards (formatting, identification, numbering, quality). * Produce lists and reports related to project documentation. * Assemble Data Books according to project requirements. * Check accuracy of received transmittals (GRDs). * Issue documents to stakeholders with respective transmittals. * Control revisions of internal and external documents for engineering and construction. * Monitor the status of all registered documents. * Ensure latest revisions are available in both physical and digital formats. * Ensure controlled physical copies are properly stamped. * Prepare progress reports on internal and external documentation. * Guarantee handover of engineering and as-built documents into systems. **Qualifications and Requirements:** * Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Document Controller. * Technical education. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Experience with **MERIDIAN**, **Omega 365**, and **SharePoint** systems is desirable. * Knowledge of other EDM systems will be considered a plus. * Good communication skills and ability to interact with designers, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. * Ability to make decisions within authorization limits and propose recommendations. * Ability to interpret technical information, handle deviations, and propose solutions. * Knowledge of engineering terminology, document types, and issuance purposes. * Experience in mining projects, basic and detailed engineering. * Ability to work independently with a high level of engagement and energy. * Willingness to share document control knowledge with contractors and support contract managers during project execution.
