All applications must be submitted exclusively through our official channels.** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of pumping systems. * Ensure reliability of centrifugal, slurry, submersible, vertical, multistage pumps and their drivers. * Monitor interventions on pipelines, valves, mechanical seals, bearings, bushings, and hydraulic systems. * Plan and oversee scheduled shutdowns and emergency maintenance related to pumps. * Lead in-house and outsourced teams, ensuring operational discipline, safety, and technical quality. * Monitor performance indicators: physical availability, MTBF, MTTR, hydraulic efficiency, and costs. * Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) of recurring failures and implement corrective and preventive actions. * Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations (NRs) and SSMA policies. * Monitor and validate work orders in the maintenance management system (CMMS). * Manage inventory of critical spare parts, service contracts, and departmental costs. * Interface with Operations, Process, Engineering, Procurement, and Safety departments. * Implement continuous improvements in production processes and layout; propose and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance pumping system efficiency, reduce costs, and extend asset life. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Technical Education in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related fields. * Preferred: Ongoing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines. * Solid experience in industrial pump maintenance, preferably in mining or heavy industry. * Experience with mineral slurry, process water, and tailings pumping systems. * Experience supervising technical teams. * Principles of pump operation and pump curves. * Mechanical seals, sealing systems, and alignment. * Pump failure analysis and reliability. * Reading and interpretation of technical drawings. * Maintenance planning and control. * Mining-related safety standards. * Maintenance management systems (SAP or similar). **Behavioral Competencies** * Operational leadership * Organization and planning * Analytical ability * Decision-making * Clear communication * Focus on safety and results * Teamwork **Additional Information** We offer a competitive salary * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * Private pension plan * Health insurance * Dental insurance * On-site meals (at operational units) * Meal allowance (at offices) * Food allowance * Transportation * Quality-of-Life Program * Gympass – Wellhub * Extended maternity and paternity leave (Citizen Company) * Club membership agreement — may vary by location * Eyeglass purchase assistance for family members * **Important: Candidates must be willing to relocate to Tucumã or Ourilândia do Norte – PA.** #### **We are Ero, one of Brazil’s leading copper and gold producers.** **We belong to a global group headquartered in Canada with a strong presence in Brazil.
