




Job Summary: Responsible for planning and implementing nursing care in mental health, ensuring comprehensive and humanized care for users. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the nursing technical team 2. Monitor and care for patients in isolation The Nurse of the Mental Health Unit is responsible for planning and implementing nursing care, ensuring safe, humanized, and comprehensive biopsychosocial care for users. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure monitoring and care for patients under isolation and contact precautions through care planning and prevention, implementation of nursing systematization, supervision of activities, and coordination of the nursing team; * Guarantee the execution of exclusive nursing procedures and those specifically assigned to the Nurse, by applying nursing techniques, accompanying complex invasive procedures performed by physicians, and supervising nursing technicians during procedure execution; * Lead the nursing technical team through work organization, monthly and daily shift scheduling, vacation planning, performance evaluation, follow-up on individual development plans, participation in staff selection processes for the unit, and acting as an educator for the team; * Preserve patient integrity by adhering to quality and safety protocols, professional ethics, institutional protocols, Technical Operational Procedures (TOP), health surveillance, the HumanizaSUS Policy, and monitoring of clinical and outcome indicators; * Ensure nursing documentation through reporting of care actions and nursing procedures, daily review of prescriptions from the multidisciplinary team, evaluation and archiving of documents, and supervision of information entered by nursing technicians; * Provide patients and their families with information regarding nursing procedures and care through targeted guidance, communication with patients and families, and education and training techniques **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Nursing. * Specialization in Mental Health or chemical dependency; * Knowledge of the Unified Health System (SUS), Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS), and the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA); * Experience in the field of Mental Health. **Additional Information** **Our benefits include:** * On-site cafeteria; * Transportation allowance; * Medical and dental plan; * Childcare assistance; * Life insurance; * Mental health teleconsultation services, extended to family members; * Birthday Day Off \*subject to current policy;
