Focus on Quality, Health, Occupational Safety, and Environmental Protection **Location:** Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil **Job ID:** R0129392 **Date Posted:** 2026\-05\-11 **Company Name:** HITACHI ENERGY BRASIL LTDA. **Profession (Job Category):** Production \& Skilled Trades **Job Schedule:** Full time **Remote:** No **Job Description:** **The Opportunity:** Responsible for performing and guiding transformer and reactor assembly and/or disassembly on the company's production lines to meet product specifications as defined by design documents, standards, and technical procedures, fulfilling requirements related to Quality, Health, Occupational Safety, Environmental Protection, and Integrity. **How You Will Make an Impact:** * Guide and perform assembly and/or disassembly activities in accordance with production orders, meeting product and quality requirements and procedures, reading and interpreting drawings along with their respective technical specifications, while complying with health, occupational safety, environmental protection, and integrity standards. * Guide and identify the sequence of assembly and/or disassembly operations according to the production plan, appropriately using machinery and equipment per predefined procedures. Examples include preparing tanks to receive the dry and pressed active part; preparing the re-compression box to ensure all required devices are available for use during active part compression and re-compression; removing the active part from the oven using an overhead crane, paying special attention to the lifting capacity of slings and steel cables; transporting the active part to the re-compression area and subsequently placing it into the tank. * Assemble accessories onto the tank (valves, monitoring equipment, pipes, conservators), as specified in drawings, and conduct applied voltage and transformer turns ratio tests. * Package and dispatch disassembled parts for shipment. Additionally assist in loading the transformer onto the trailer as specified for transportation. * Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines. **Requirements:** * Completed High School education * Technical course in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields * Preferred training in NR10 Electrical Safety, Overhead Crane Operation, NR33 Confined Space, Working at Heights, and Elevating Work Platforms Our company is open to implementing workplace accommodations.
