Job Responsibilities and Duties
* Strategically plan projects by defining scope, objectives, schedules, resources, and appropriate methodology to ensure each initiative aligns with the company’s strategy and priorities.
* Form, develop, and coordinate teams, fostering collaboration, engagement, and high performance to ensure effective execution of activities.
* Monitor and track project execution using performance indicators, analyzing deviations and implementing corrective actions to ensure delivery of results.
* Manage communication and relationships with executives and involved professionals, ensuring transparency regarding initiative progress, alignment of expectations, and periodic reporting to management and relevant departments.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, developing contingency plans that ensure project continuity amid unforeseen events and changing scenarios.
* Ensure delivery quality through application of methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Scrum, Lean) and implementation of continuous improvement practices.
* Control project budgets by monitoring forecasted and actual costs, seeking resource optimization and ensuring financial viability of initiatives.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation for the entire project lifecycle, recording decisions, changes, outcomes, and lessons learned for future reference and improvement.
* Support development and analysis of performance indicators, providing data-driven decision-making support.
* Provide support, when required, for complementary activities such as supplier prospecting and assistance to other departments on strategic requests.
* Manage team activities under responsibility, establishing priorities, making decisions, and monitoring work execution within deadlines and expected quality standards.
Industrial environment, engineering, or technical project knowledge is desirable.
Experience with various project management methodologies, applied according to each initiative’s complexity:
* Traditional (PMBOK – Project Management Institute)
* Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
* Continuous improvement (Lean)
Minimum Education: Postgraduate Specialization/MBA
Driver’s License: Class B
Willingness to travel
