Maintain the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized, as well as tools, equipment, utensils, dishware, and countertops. Assist in pantry organization, expiration date verification, food receiving, and storage to prevent waste. Help with plating and presentation of dishes, following menu specifications and chef's instructions. Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations, including proper food handling and adequate cleaning. And other duties related to the position. Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Restaurant Assistant, or Food Preparer may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities of this role.
