Work model: Hybrid \- 3x On-site Unit: São Paulo \- Osasco **What will your day-to-day look like?** As an Observability Engineer, you will manage IT Infrastructure and your primary responsibilities will include: * Leading high-severity incidents: coordinate war rooms, conduct postmortems, and ensure systemic fixes; sponsor "safe deployment" and canary releases. Proactively engage in incident rooms managed by ERT, promoting communication regarding actions taken and environment validation, suggesting rapid and effective resolution paths capable of leading communication; * Automation and IaC governance: Bicep/Terraform standards, secret/identity security, and release pipelines with gates and quality signals; * Technical mentoring and decision-making: select technologies, lead POCs, and define reliability guidelines; promote SRE culture; * Enhance medium/long-term reliability and efficiency (sustainable reduction of incidents, increased deployment velocity with security); * Decision-making guided by SLO/error budget and internal/external benchmarks. **Requirements and Qualifications** What do you need to have or know? * Experience with large-scale architecture: lead design of resilient distributed systems (HA/failover, DR, capacity management, performance tuning); * Experience with observability strategy: define instrumentation standards (SLIs), SLOs, and SLO-based alerts; consolidate telemetry (Logs/Metrics/Traces); * Solid Java knowledge: JVM, Actuator, garbage collector, connection pools, threads; * Proficiency in System Design: strong system design patterns for reliability/performance; * Proficiency in resilience testing and Chaos Engineering practices: conduct hypothesis-driven experiments (fault/latency injection, pod/node/network failures) with guardrails and controlled blast radius, promote game days, continuous automation, and structural fixes based on findings. **What We Offer** At Bradesco, we value health and well-being, offering an extensive portfolio of benefits to all our employees: * PLR or Bonus: Based on position eligibility\* * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Food Allowance * Meal Voucher * 13th Food Basket * Total Pass * Transportation Voucher (optional enrollment) * Discounts on products and services from partner companies * Private Pension (optional enrollment, with financial contribution from Bradesco Organization) * Viva Bem Bradesco: health, well-being, and quality-of-life program * Unibrad: Bradesco Corporate University * Fee Waiver: special conditions across various products and services * Daycare or Babysitter Assistance * Extended Paternity Leave of 20 days * Maternity Leave of 180 days, including gestational support through postpartum
