Job Summary:
The professional will guide waste collection teams, operate equipment, maintain vehicles, and ensure proper waste disposal.
Key Highlights:
1. Lead and coordinate waste collection teams.
2. Operate vehicle-mounted equipment and ensure its maintenance.
3. Manage final waste disposal and equipment inspection.
* Guide the collection team by providing collectors with route instructions according to the pre-established schedule.
* Operate vehicle-mounted equipment following instructions provided by the operational services supervisor. Lead the collection team and/or assistants, promoting coordination of activities.
* Ensure the vehicle is in proper condition, maintaining preventive maintenance.
* Report mechanical defects of the vehicle to the operations department for issuance of a Service Order for maintenance; notify the operations department of any mechanical defects of the vehicle so that the corresponding maintenance Service Order can be issued.
* Strictly comply with general driver regulations as per company guidelines and applicable legal provisions.
* Collect equipment and transport it to the facility or landfill, replacing it with empty equipment when necessary.
* Wait for issuance of MTRs (Waste Transport Manifests) according to established procedures.
* When required, inspect collection equipment, including containers, stationary compactors, Brooks, among others.
* Enter data into the Ose system, opening and closing routes, performing checklists, unloading at the landfill, and completing the route finalization process.
* Ensure final waste disposal by directing waste to landfills or to responsible partner facilities.
* Perform operations using rolloff trucks and poliguindastes, both single and double, according to operational needs.
