**What you will do:**
We are seeking a dedicated Workplace Safety Coordinator committed to building safe and sustainable environments. Key responsibilities include:
* Lead the Workplace Safety Team by developing and guiding team members, ensuring a collaborative, technically sound, and motivating environment;
* Manage Incident Investigations, leading structured analyses, root cause identification, and coordination of preventive actions to ensure continuous learning;
* Ensure compliance with applicable legislation by maintaining controls, records, updates, and guiding operations toward excellence standards;
* Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans, training, and simulations to ensure organizational readiness and efficiency;
* Manage Safety-related costs and monitor area-specific KPIs and expenses, pursuing resource optimization and practices that add business value;
* Consistently strengthen the Safety Culture by actively promoting safe behaviors, internal campaigns, and initiatives reinforcing collective commitment to safety;
* Conduct and/or support safety audits, including ISO 45001 and other corporate and/or legal audits;
* Ensure all contracted companies comply with safety requirements, aligning them with internal standards;
* Support Health and Environment areas, collaborating synergistically with other EHS functions to deliver an integrated and efficient approach;
* Plan, monitor, and ensure execution of safety training programs, reinforcing technical and behavioral competencies;
* Monitor and analyze safety KPIs, proposing strategic actions to improve performance and support decision-making;
* Guarantee processes and controls that ensure safe operations—including risk assessments, permits, and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) practices;
* Assess risks and ensure effective controls whenever changes occur in processes, layout, equipment, or materials;
* Apply methodologies for risk identification, analysis, and mitigation, strengthening prevention and decision-making.
As part of our continuous improvement culture, you will participate in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS / EAI).
**Who you are:**
You have:
* Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture, with active registration at CREA.
* Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Safety Engineering.
* Solid experience in occupational safety and people management;
* Knowledge of occupational safety legislation and related routines—e.g., machine guarding, safety culture, risk assessment, accident investigation;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
