Job Summary: We are seeking an Engineering Manager to build and structure the engineering team, ensure delivery predictability, and elevate the team's technical and organizational maturity, leading efficient engineering execution. Develop the team (feedback, technical and behavioral growth) We are a technology company developing integrated software and hardware solutions, working on projects involving physical devices (e.g., kiosks/equipment) and digital platforms. We seek an **Engineering Manager** to structure the team, ensure delivery predictability, and elevate the area’s technical and organizational level. **Position Objective** Ensure efficient engineering execution by leading the technical team, organizing processes, and guaranteeing high-quality, on-time deliveries aligned with business goals. **Key Responsibilities** Lead the engineering team (software, firmware, and/or integrations) Collaborate with Product to organize and manage the technical backlog Plan and monitor sprints and deliveries Ensure code quality, architecture, and best practices Act as a bridge between departments (Product, Operations, Business) Support technical decision-making (without centralizing execution) Structure and improve development processes Monitor performance metrics (deliveries, bugs, rework, lead time) Develop the team (feedback, technical and behavioral growth) Support team hiring and onboarding **Mandatory Requirements** Prior experience as an engineering leader/manager Strong foundation in software development Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) Experience managing and prioritizing backlogs Experience leading technical teams (minimum of 5 people) Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders Ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent demands **Preferred Qualifications** (important for your context) Experience in hardware + software integration (IoT, devices, embedded systems) Experience in product-based companies (not just project-based work) Experience with mission-critical systems or public-sector contracts Knowledge of scalable and distributed system architectures Experience structuring teams and processes.
