A civil construction company seeks a professional to work on projects in the metropolitan region of Curitiba.
**YOUR MAIN CHALLENGES**
* Coordinate and supervise the activities of Occupational Safety Technicians on construction sites, ensuring procedural standardization, inspection routines, and record quality;
* Manage interface with the supplier responsible for developing OHS programs, technically validating delivered documents (PGR, PCMSO, APR, etc.) and ensuring their alignment with each site's actual conditions;
* Monitor compliance with applicable Regulatory Norms (NRs), with emphasis on NR\-18 (Working Conditions in the Construction Industry), NR\-35 (Work at Heights), and NR\-12 (Machine and Equipment Safety);
* Conduct periodic site audits to identify risks, verify compliance, and propose corrective and preventive actions;
* Manage safety indicators (frequency rate, severity rate, near\-misses) and report to senior management with analyses and action plans;
* Lead accident and incident investigations, prepare root cause reports, and follow up on implementation of corrective measures;
* Coordinate safety integration for new employees and contractors, ensuring all receive appropriate training before commencing activities;
* Support contractor documentation management related to OHS (ASOs, PPE records, training certificates, work orders) in coordination with the procurement department;
* Participate in construction planning meetings to anticipate risks associated with each execution phase and propose preventive solutions.
**JOB DETAILS**
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (PJ)
Work Location: Metropolitan Region of Curitiba
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM; Friday until 4 PM
**REQUIREMENTS**
**Education**
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering
Active registration with CREA and qualification as an Occupational Safety Engineer
**Technical Requirements / Experience and Background:**
Experience in high\-end vertical residential construction projects;
Previous experience as a production or field engineer in civil construction, combining operational insight with safety management;
Knowledge of integrated management systems (IMS) or ISO 45001 certification;
Familiarity with risk analysis methodologies (APR, Bow\-Tie, What\-If);
Ability to deliver technical training (NR\-35, NR\-18, confined space).
