This role ensures operational efficiency and compliance with procurement policies. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Manage procurement of materials and components for product development projects. * Collaborate closely with product development teams to understand material requirements and specifications. * Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure material quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery. * Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to meet project timelines and budget constraints. * Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to monitor delivery schedules and resolve any procurement-related issues. * Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier communications, and project requirements to ensure efficient project execution. **Experience Required** ----------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business, Logistics, or related field. * Experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in product development or manufacturing environments. **Preferred Qualifications** ---------------------------- * Prior experience in Product Development Procurement (PDP) within automotive or agricultural sectors. * Strong experience in metallic component manufacturing processes, especially casting and machining. * Experience in supplier development and validation (APQP / PPAP). * Proven ability to conduct technical feasibility analyses and challenge suppliers on design and manufacturing processes. * Experience working in cross-functional and global environments (Engineering, SQE, Logistics, and international teams). * Knowledge of cost analysis methodologies (should-cost, benchmarking, VA/VE). * Familiarity with project management and product development milestones (e.g., OKTS, ECO, CR processes). * Experience handling critical situations, including emergency purchases (spot buys), supply risk mitigation, and launch support. * Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and internal tools (e.g., PCM or similar). * Strong communication skills in multicultural and global settings. **What We Offer** ----------------- At CNH, we understand that the best solutions stem from the diverse experiences and skills of our team.
