Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior AWS Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure cloud-native applications on AWS, mentor the team, and drive cloud development best practices. Drive cloud development best practices We are looking for a **Senior AWS Developer** to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure cloud-native applications on AWS. As a senior member of the team, you will play a critical role in cloud solution architecture, mentoring other developers to enhance the team’s cloud knowledge and expertise, and driving cloud development best practices. You will work with an experienced global development team to build and support digital solutions for the factory floor environment, based on AWS. Additionally, you will also work in **on\-premises** environments, building cloud-native solutions deployed on a Kubernetes environment. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Act as a mentor to support developers in integrating with the global cloud platform (based on AWS) and begin developing solutions on it. * Develop, deploy, and support on\-premises digital solutions (Kubernetes environment). * Coordinate activities in the AWS environment with global teams (best practices, requirements, demands, etc.). * Serve as an AWS ambassador and support the development of local team skills on the AWS platform. * Evaluate and select appropriate AWS services for solution architectures. * Design, develop, and operate cloud-based (AWS) applications. * Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD), Clean Code principles, and conduct code reviews. * Build and maintain toolchains for development, deployment, and operations (DevOps approach). * Collaborate with global project teams to modernize legacy systems and deliver future-ready solutions based on AWS. * Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and resilient applications using AWS services. * Lead cloud architecture discussions and guide decisions regarding service design, cost optimization, and automation. * Integrate AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Step Functions into solutions. * Implement application monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, X\-Ray, and third-party tools. * Ensure security, compliance, and identity management for cloud applications using IAM, KMS, Cognito, and Secrets Manager. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. * Stay updated on AWS innovations and recommend improvements to the team’s architecture and toolset. * Analyze and evaluate requirements, and participate in feasibility studies and technical decisions. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Python, Java,** **Node.js****, Go** (backend) * **Angular, React,** **Vue.js** (frontend) * More than **5 years of professional software development experience**. * More than **3 years of hands-on AWS cloud development experience**. * Experience with **modern software architectures** (microservices, distributed systems, cloud-native applications). * Extensive experience with **AWS cloud services** (compute, storage, networking, security). * Strong knowledge of **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using **AWS CDK** (no Terraform usage). * Proficiency in **CI/CD**, automation, rollouts, and operation of distributed systems. * Knowledge of **relational and NoSQL databases**. * Familiarity with **containerization and orchestration** (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS/EKS). * Solid understanding of **unit and integration testing** in cloud environments. **Mandatory Language:** * **Advanced English for conversation** **Additional Information** **Job Title: Senior AWS Developer** **Work Location:** Hybrid (Juveve/PR) \- 3 days per week onsite Free online training platform Health and Wellness Program **Benefits:** SulAmérica Health and Dental Plan Profit Sharing (PLR) Private Pension Plan Funeral Benefit Plan Transportation Voucher Life Insurance Funeral Assistance Meal Voucher Food Voucher Childcare Assistance Home Office Allowance Vehicle Leasing Program Zero-Kilometer Vehicle Purchase Discount at VWB Service Recognition Bonus **LEARN ABOUT VOLKSWAGEN** ------------------------ Volkswagen is part of Brazilians’ lives, hearts, and garages.
