We are looking for a **Dietitian** to monitor the nutritional status of oncology patients, directly contributing to treatment quality, complication prevention, and comprehensive patient care.
**Position:** Oncology Dietitian
**Working Hours:** 08:00 to 17:00

**Job Mission**
Provide nutritional monitoring for patients undergoing oncological treatment, promoting individualized care, complication prevention, and appropriate nutritional and clinical support throughout all treatment stages.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Attend to and counsel patients initiating chemotherapy or changing protocols, according to schedules previously established by nursing staff;
* Provide nutritional guidance using educational materials, indicating appropriate dietary patterns before, during, and after treatment, with emphasis on preventing and reducing side effects;
* Perform anthropometric nutritional assessments on patients starting chemotherapy;
* Develop individualized meal plans and prescribe dietary supplementation when necessary;
* Recommend enteral nutritional support in cases of insufficient caloric intake, severe weight loss, anorexia, or malnutrition;
* Recommend oral nutritional therapy when nutritional supplementation is identified as needed;
* Monitor patients' nutritional progression, adjusting diets according to treatment side effects and clinical status;
* Monitor laboratory tests related to nutrition and propose corrections for excesses or deficiencies through diet or supplementation;
* Counsel and train kitchen staff regarding hygiene, expiration dates, and proper storage of snacks;
* Supervise the organization, hygiene, and preservation of food in kitchens;
* Collect data from consultations to compile and track nutrition department indicators;
* Perform other related duties as required by the department.
**Requirements**
* Completed undergraduate degree in Nutrition;
* Active registration with CRN (Regional Nutrition Council);
* Minimum **6 months** of experience in **oncology**;
* Experience in clinical care and nutritional monitoring of patients;
* Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with patients undergoing chemotherapy;
* Experience in hospital or oncology clinic settings;
* Knowledge of enteral nutritional therapy and clinical supplementation.
