Welcoming and safe work environment **Kitchen Assistant** We are looking for a dedicated and responsible professional to serve as a Kitchen Assistant at our preschool. The professional will support meal preparation, kitchen organization and sanitation, ensuring safe, healthy, and age-appropriate meals for children. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist in meal preparation according to the menu provided by the nutritionist; * Perform food sanitation and pre\-preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, organizing); * Maintain a clean, organized kitchen compliant with hygiene and food safety standards; * Sanitize utensils, equipment, and surfaces before, during, and after food preparation; * Assist in meal distribution to classrooms when required; * Monitor and organize food storage, observing expiration dates and proper storage conditions; * Collect and dispose of waste correctly, following safety and sustainability guidelines; * Support kitchen routine organization and daily material maintenance; * Collaborate with the team to ensure a welcoming and safe environment during children's mealtimes. **Requirements:** * Completed elementary education; * Prior kitchen experience, preferably in school or similar settings; * Responsible, punctual, proactive, and attentive—especially when working in environments frequented by children. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in preschools or daycare centers; * Training in professional cleaning and sanitation.
