Job Summary: A Kitchen Assistant supports food pre-preparation, preparation, and processing; kitchen hygiene; plating; and inventory organization, following food safety regulations. Assistance in plating and inventory control Kitchen Assistant * Assist in food pre\-preparation, preparation, and processing according to instructions from the chef or head cook; * Clean and organize kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas in compliance with safety and hygiene standards; * Wash, peel, cut, and portion foods for use in recipes; * Assist in plating dishes, salads, sandwiches, and other preparations; * Store raw materials and finished products appropriately to ensure preservation and shelf life; * Support kitchen inventory control by sorting and organizing ingredients; * Remove garbage, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate in keeping the workplace orderly; * Comply with good food handling practices and food safety regulations.
