Where there is **evolution**, Vale is present. **MINE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST – EARTHWORKS AND INFRASTRUCTURE – MINING** **Attention: It is mandatory to attach your resume at the time of registration.** **Would you like to learn about our opportunity?** **CD Number (Available Position):** 1090501 **Number of Openings:** 01 **Education:** Completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering **Location:** Parauapebas, Pará, Brazil **Working Hours:** Administrative **Type of Contract:** Indefinite term **Application Period:** from 03/11/2025 to 09/11/2025 **Required Qualifications:** * Experience and specialization in Project Management; * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering; * Experience and knowledge in road and highway construction and open-pit mine operations; * Knowledge in stockpile operation; * Experience in mining environments, large-scale projects, or highway construction. * Valid driver's license category B. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree in mining engineering and/or geotechnical engineering; * Intermediate English proficiency. * Knowledge of software such as MS Project, Power BI, and construction management systems; * Experience in projects involving monitoring and tracking of mine planning. **Job Responsibilities and Activities:** * Support the Mine Earthworks Management team, focusing on meeting production plan requirements and driving continuous improvement within the mine infrastructure process; * Participate in the development of monthly pre-plans for production at Mines N5, N4E, and N4WNorth/WSouth, providing visibility into equipment safety and productivity operational conditions, contributing inputs for managerial decision-making. * Daily coordination with specialists from interfacing areas (Mine Planning, COI, Hydrogeology, Networks and Lines, Earthworks, Infrastructure, Mine Operations, and Equipment Maintenance) to monitor D\-1 and D\+1 balances, tracking production plan indicators and providing strategic information for management decisions, ensuring operational performance. * Enable greater operational efficiency through structured and strategic execution of processes, resulting in improved operational safety. * Interface with all areas involved in the exploitation of the Carajás Mine, focusing on mineral development and extraction. * Conduct technical/economic feasibility studies for projects such as mining around cavities using Continuous Miners, without environmental impact. * Participate in developing master plans for operational technologies, such as implementing trolley systems in mines using kinetic energy. * Participate in defining contract scopes and establishing SLAs/KPIs. * Contribute to strategic planning for engineering and equipment maintenance.
