Join our team!** **Your Mission:** Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on equipment either at the company’s workshop or at customer sites, conducting diagnostics and failure analysis to improve processes, propose continuous improvement and safety projects—including their implementation—and conduct technical training. Analyze equipment, parts, and service performance indicators to support management decisions; assist the supervisor in managing contract personnel; and operate vehicles. This position is based in Carajás, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours. **Responsibilities:** * Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment, both at the workshop and at customer facilities, including disassembly, cleaning, component replacement, and reassembly; * Recommend technical and operational solutions to avoid excessive wear or frequent breakdowns; * Calibrate tools using operation simulations and torque testing, adjusting as required; * Participate in planning and executing maintenance activities and in meetings with customers; * Prepare strategic parts and components lists (ABC list) to ensure equipment performance and reliability; * Analyze and inspect equipment, assessing overall condition and components, identifying replacement needs, and estimating service life; * Relay maintenance data to the responsible area for budget preparation and submission to the customer; * Assist colleagues in reading and interpreting technical drawings and product catalogs; * Physically verify equipment to validate assembly, disassembly, manufacturing, and maintenance data; * Prepare technical reports describing failures, premature wear, or incorrect procedures, proposing improvements; * Conduct equipment tests and adjustments to ensure operational performance; * Perform predictive maintenance, prepare inspection reports, and generate backlogs when necessary; * Deliver highly complex technical training on Epiroc equipment; * Analyze equipment, parts, and service performance indicators to support managerial decision-making; * Support the supervisor in managing personnel assigned to the contract. **Responsibilities under the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality Management System:** * Comply with the Integrated Management System and Quality policies and documents; * Understand and respect the aspects, impacts, hazards, and risk registers; * Stay updated on procedures and instructions applicable to your daily work; * Follow the company’s safety regulations. **Competencies:** * Completed high school education; * Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Electromechanical Engineering; * Advantage: Experience in process improvement; * Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in related fields; * Preferred: Technical English or Spanish. **Experience:** * Experience maintaining drilling and transportation equipment; * Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office tools; * Experience delivering training; * Experience with maintenance management KPIs: DF, MTBF, MTTR, UF, EF, among others. **Your Profile:** * Strong interpersonal skills; * Organized; * Leadership mindset; * Team-oriented; * Flexibility to handle emergency situations; * Results-driven; * Customer-focused; * Innovative mindset; * Ability to comply with company and safety rules and procedures; * Systems thinking and business awareness. **It all starts with people.** The world needs metals and minerals to enable the energy transition, and our cities and infrastructure must develop to serve a growing population.
