You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling preventive and corrective maintenance activities on industrial mining equipment—including mills, crushers, apron feeders, yard machines (reclaimers and stackers), wagon turners, and auxiliary systems—primarily during scheduled maintenance shutdowns at various customer sites across Brazil. You will play a critical role in the success of our business. In this position, you will report to the FSE Contract Coordinator. This position is primarily based in Parauapebas/PA and involves 100% travel. Team you’ll join You will join the Field Service team dedicated to executing maintenance services in the field. We are currently working on multiple nationwide contracts. We collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including maintenance, planning, procurement, HR, customers, suppliers, and others. What you’ll do Shutdown Planning Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans for major industrial shutdowns. Create detailed schedules (daily and hourly) with critical path analysis and risk assessment. Integrate multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, safety) into planning. Mobilization and Logistics Plan labor resources, tools, specialized equipment, and spare parts. Support team mobilization logistics, ensuring timely and safe deployment. Coordinate interface with local suppliers and service providers. Execution Control Monitor on-site execution of planned activities. Track schedule, cost, and quality deviations, proposing immediate corrective actions. Update progress indicators in real time and report to management and customers. Technical Analysis and Reliability Evaluate recurring failures during shutdowns and propose improvements for future plans. Support reliability engineering teams with field data. Conduct post-shutdown analyses (lessons learned and technical reports). Safety Management Ensure all shutdown plans comply with SSMA standards. Define safe work windows and develop lockout, inspection, and release procedures. Multi-Customer Relationship Management Act as the liaison between Metso and customers, ensuring alignment of expectations. Adapt to different maintenance management systems (SAP, Totvs, Maximo, etc.). Lead alignment meetings with customer managers before, during, and after shutdowns. Continuous Improvement Participate in national standardization of shutdown planning processes. Propose initiatives to reduce costs, shorten timelines, and improve asset reliability. Who you are Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related fields (preferred); Experience in planning and controlling maintenance services in the mining and metallurgical sectors; Advanced proficiency in MS Project; Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and Power BI; Intermediate English; Driver’s license category B; 100% willingness to travel nationwide. Interest in working closely with field operations, observing daily execution, and performing real-time planning and reporting; Preference for candidates residing in Parauapebas/PA or surrounding areas.
