Description

Job Summary: Analyzes and plans purchasing, storage, distribution, and product movement needs, ensuring inventory integrity, security, and control. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to propose improvements to company procedures Analyze material purchasing needs and develop strategies for product storage and distribution. Plan appropriate product storage and merchandise placement to preserve integrity and safety, facilitate identification, location, and handling. Control material inflows and outflows received and/or withdrawn from inventory; Conduct cyclic/rotational inventories; monitor incoming, outgoing, adjustment, and transfer transactions of goods; reconcile return and disposal flows to identify inventory discrepancies; Perform material receipt, movement, and storage. Receive and verify incoming invoices for purchased materials; check quantities, descriptions, and general condition of materials and packaging; Handle dispatch and receipt, control, maintenance, cleaning, and organization of the department. Monitor loading and unloading; interpret invoices and verify receipt against purchase orders; Organize material storage to preserve physical integrity and usability conditions; Deliver materials to requesters and record material deliveries or withdrawals from inventory via system; Submit purchase requests for spare parts for inventory and emergency needs; process returns of materials from requisitions to the warehouse; Transfer materials between bases under warehouse responsibility; support and execute salvage sales, truck parts sales, and scrap sales processes; propose improvements to company procedures.
