* Test and analyze equipment failures and propose solutions; * Inspect equipment; * Participate in maintenance planning/scheduling; * Read and interpret drawings, standards, and work instructions, as well as develop, update, and suggest improvements to operational procedures (standards and work instructions); * Supervise maintenance services performed by contractors in electrical, electronic, electroelectronic, and telecommunications areas; * Specify, procure, and control materials and/or tools required to carry out activities; * Perform installation, relocation, configuration, and failure/anomaly analysis on computerized systems and software; * Carry out, maintain, and guide cleaning and conservation of facilities and equipment. * Occasionally or non-routinely operate locomotives or conduct line operations; * Size equipment; analyze and monitor projects, issuing technical opinions and feasibility assessments; * Analyze equipment failures, propose solutions, evaluate maintenance outcomes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring deviations; * Contribute to budget negotiations for service provision and preparation of operating and investment budgets; * Specify, procure, and control materials and/or tools required to carry out activities; * Carry out, maintain, and guide cleaning and conservation of facilities and equipment. * Collaborate in developing and/or updating operational procedures (standards and work instructions); * Be responsible for equipment inspections; * Plan and schedule corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance services for machines, equipment, rolling stock, and facilities, optimizing resources to contribute toward safety, quality, and cost objectives and targets. * Monitor, supervise, inspect, and perform tests on equipment, generating reports. * Carry out, maintain, and guide cleaning and conservation of facilities and equipment. * Support supervision in Corporate Program activities; * Operate light and medium vehicles (up to 6 tons); * Refuel vehicles and fuel storage tanks. * Participate in technical visits related to contracts; * Manage assets and software; * Ensure implementation of actions identified by engineering and/or reliability teams to prevent recurring failures;
