Maintenance of optical fiber systems and repeater infrastructure. #### **We are seeking a Telecommunications Technician for work in Cuiabá (MT).** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Technically monitor and supervise services performed by contracted companies (telecom maintenance), verifying compliance with safety requirements, work instructions, scope, and technical acceptance criteria. * Conduct interventions and respond to contingencies on transmission lines, performing critical activities (e.g., emergency restoration and repairs, relocations, and high-impact operational interventions) in accordance with applicable procedures and authorizations. * Plan and coordinate spare materials inventory management, determining minimum quantities required to maintain the telecommunications system. * Perform operation, inspection, maintenance, and cleaning activities on telecommunications systems and associated infrastructure at NBTE repeater stations, ensuring the availability and reliability of communication and data transmission channels under the concession. * Carry out preventive, corrective, and predictive inspections on optical fiber systems, including link analysis and measurement, optical loss monitoring, degradation identification, continuity testing, splicing, optical terminals, ODFs, cables, and other existing components, recording any anomalies in the computerized maintenance system. * Perform maintenance on electrical systems of repeater stations, including distribution panels, battery banks, DC and AC systems, chargers, inverters, grounding, and other electrical devices essential to telecom system operation, adhering to applicable technical and safety standards. * Inspect, operate, and maintain air conditioning units and generator sets serving repeater stations, including functional tests, start-up verification, fuel and lubrication checks, refrigeration assessment, load testing, and other necessary activities to ensure energy availability. * Monitor the condition and operation of antennas, radios, communication links, RF cables, monitoring systems, network equipment, industrial switches, routers, digital radios, control panels, and other existing equipment. * Conduct tests, analyses, and measurements on telecommunications systems using appropriate equipment—such as OTDRs, power meters, optical inspection tools, and electrical instruments—maintaining complete records of all interventions. * Monitor and validate telecom and power maintenance schedules; support KPI tracking; and propose technical improvements aligned with the Specialist and Coordination. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School Education — Completed Technical Course in Telecommunications, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Computer Networks, Automation, or related fields. * Essential Technical Requirements: * NR-10 (including SEP, where applicable to the role), per internal requirements. * Suitability for fieldwork, including capability to perform work at heights when required. * Driver’s License Category B. * Desired Qualifications: * Initial experience in telecommunications systems maintenance/inspection. * Basic ability to read and interpret field drawings/arrangements and procedures. * Knowledge of optical fiber systems, including OTDR and power meter testing, optical inspection, and splicing and termination techniques. * Knowledge of electricity, DC/AC systems, battery banks, electrical panels, and basic generator set maintenance. * Familiarity with network equipment: switches, radios, routers, microwave links, antennas, and supervisory systems. * Ability to read and interpret electrical, functional, and optical diagrams. **Additional Information** Flexible Benefit (Meal/Food) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Private Pension Plan Bonus Gympass Day Off Short Friday **About Evoltz** Founded in 2018, Evoltz operates eleven transmission lines totaling 3.561 km across ten Brazilian states.
