RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Provide customers with information about products and services Serve customers, inform them of prices, and clarify general inquiries Communicate offers, promotions, and payment methods to customers Accompany customers to the checkout counter to complete purchases Request restocking of products and merchandise Receive and verify merchandise against invoices and purchase orders Record and monitor incoming and outgoing merchandise Apply identification and pricing labels to shelves or gondolas Collect damaged, misplaced, or expired merchandise Set up product display points and merchandise stores Decorate and affix promotional materials at points of sale Conduct inventory checks for restocking purposes Restock merchandise at points of sale Check for damaged products in the warehouse and/or inventory Sort and organize merchandise for inventory counting and stocktaking Distribute samples and offer products for tasting Clean preparation and product display areas REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS High school enrollment preferred or completion of high school; Availability for work and training (Monday through Friday).
