RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Provide customers with information about products and services Serve customers, inform prices, and clarify general questions Communicate offers, promotions, and payment methods to customers Accompany customers to the checkout to complete purchases Request merchandise restocking Receive and verify goods against invoices and purchase orders Record and control goods inflows and outflows Apply identification and pricing labels to gondolas or shelves Collect damaged, misplaced, or expired items Set up merchandise display points and stores Decorate and install promotional materials at points of sale Conduct inventory checks for restocking purposes Restock merchandise at points of sale Inspect warehouse and/or inventory for damaged products Sort and organize merchandise for inventory counting and stocktaking Distribute samples and offer products for tasting Sanitize product preparation and display areas REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS High school enrollment preferred or completion of high school; Availability for work and training (Monday to Friday).
