Organization of service areas and material sorting Mirandex began its journey in mid-1994 as a distributor of Brasil Vidros de Rondônia, operating in the distribution of flat glass and common glass. In 1998, demand for tempered glass emerged in the state—a novelty at the time. Since then, we began reselling tempered glass produced in major Brazilian industrial centers. Rising demand, purchasing and transportation difficulties, and delivery lead times inspired us to establish our own manufacturing facility. Thus, in 2000, we inaugurated our tempered glass factory—the first in the state of Rondônia—equipped with a vertical tempering furnace. As market demand grew increasingly intense, new products and faster delivery became essential. To meet these needs, in 2002 we took a major step forward by acquiring a horizontal furnace featuring American technology, enabling faster and higher-quality glass production.
