JUNIOR WORKPLACE SAFETY TECHNICIAN

Description

We are seeking a Junior Workplace Safety Technician to carry out accident prevention activities, complying with legal requirements and company procedures. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct periodic inspections and audits in work environments to identify and analyze occupational hazards; * Monitor prevention and protection programs, including the Environmental Risk Prevention Program (PGR) and the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO); * Deliver workplace safety training and guidance to employees, covering proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency procedures; * Investigate and document workplace accidents, perform root-cause analysis, and propose corrective actions; * Monitor and support employees’ occupational medical examinations; provide support to branch offices; * Maintain up-to-date documentation and records related to workplace safety; * Collaborate with the health and safety team to implement policies and practices that promote a safety culture. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background** * Technical Education in Workplace Safety * Registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) Valid driver’s license is desirable. **Professional Experience** * Experience in this position or in similar roles. **Specific Knowledge** \- Occupational safety standards and current legislation \- Basic \- Workplace and Environmental Safety (Application) \- Basic \- Microsoft Office Suite \- Basic Public Service \- Basic **Additional Information** Meals provided on-site; Meal allowance; Gas allowance; Basic food basket; Health insurance plan (Unimed, 50% employer-paid); Career and salary framework; Profit-sharing program (PPR); Partnership with SEST SENAT (dentist, nutritionist, psychologist, club, and gym); Birthday day off; "Love Package" (maternity kit). **Since 1989, we have delivered trust, quality, and speed across Brazil.** **At Carvalima**, we are driven by our passion for connecting people, companies, and results.
