Job Summary: The Automotive Mechanic Assistant will support preventive and corrective vehicle maintenance, including brake, suspension, and electronic fuel injection systems, as well as provide customer service. Customer service with proactivity and organization **We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic Assistant for Várzea Grande/MT:** **Reporting to the area manager, your responsibilities will include:** * Assisting in preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance of vehicles; * Assisting in assembly of brake, suspension, clutch, fuel injection, electronic systems, automotive air conditioning cleaning/maintenance and repair; * Assisting in tire mounting, timing belt replacement, clutch replacement, spark plug replacement, exhaust system replacement, pivot replacement, routine maintenance (oil and filter changes), electronic fuel injection, and leak repairs; * Assisting with scanner usage and other diagnostic tools, as requested or per scheduled maintenance plans; * Assisting in inspection and testing of parts and assemblies prior to installation on vehicles; * Requesting replacement parts and auxiliary materials required to perform services; * Performing other related duties as required by the department. **Requirements** * Completed high school education or currently enrolled in an Automotive Mechanics technical program; * Driver's license category B is a plus; * Experience in auto centers, as this role focuses on suspension and brake systems—not engine mechanics; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Strong communication skills, organization, and proactivity; * Must deliver excellent customer service, demonstrating willingness to assist customers with any inquiries.
