Hands-on work assembling brake systems, suspension systems, and other vehicle components. **We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic Assistant for (Cuiabá):** **Reporting to the area manager, your responsibilities will include:** * Assisting in preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance of vehicles; * Assisting in assembling brake systems, suspension systems, clutches, fuel injection systems, electronic systems, and automotive air conditioning cleaning/maintenance and repair; * Assisting in tire mounting, timing belt replacement, clutch replacement, spark plug replacement, exhaust system replacement, pivot replacement, routine maintenance (oil and filter changes), electronic fuel injection, and leak repairs; * Assisting with scanner diagnostics and other tasks as requested or per scheduled maintenance plans; * Assisting in inspecting and testing parts and assemblies before installation on vehicles; * Requesting replacement parts and auxiliary materials required to perform services; * Performing other related duties as required by the department. **Requirements** * Completed high school education or currently enrolled in an Automotive Mechanics technical program; * Category B driver's license is a plus; * Experience in auto service centers, as this role focuses on suspension and brake systems—not engine mechanics; * Ability to work effectively in a team environment; * Strong communication skills, organization, and proactivity; * Must provide outstanding customer service and demonstrate willingness to assist customers with any inquiries.
