Environmental Supervisor II supports the Environmental Management System administration and supervises the Concessionaire's environmental licensing, ensuring legal compliance and continuous process improvement. Monitors the implementation of environmental programs, with emphasis on construction site monitoring and fulfillment of conditions, deadlines, and applicable requirements. Manages waste, controls environmental indicators, and implements actions related to the Indigenous Component, ensuring environmental regularity and appropriate mitigation of environmental impacts.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Plan and conduct updates of internal procedures for the Environmental Management System, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to internal procedures.
* Supervise the updating and management of Licenses, Permits, Authorizations, vegetation removal, and wildlife management, validating records and implementing corrective actions with the team.
* Lead processes for obtaining and renewing licenses, permits, and authorizations, including vegetation removal and wildlife management.
* Plan and conduct training sessions, awareness campaigns, and Sustainability Dialogues involving internal teams, contractors, and local communities.
* Participate in internal and external audits, emergency drills, and strategic environmental programs.
* Plan, coordinate, and validate semiannual reports, consolidating indicators, environmental data, and performance results to meet requirements of environmental agencies, ANTT, and socio-environmental questionnaires.
* Supervise the completion and analysis of indicators, monitoring activities, and environmental actions, seeking operational efficiency and information consistency.
* Identify, assess, and monitor environmental risks, proposing preventive and corrective measures.
* Serve as a technical reference and guide teams, promoting professional development.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION**
* Bachelor’s degree in Forestry Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or related fields;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
* Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001\);
* Knowledge of environmental legislation;
* Knowledge of environmental indicator analysis;
* Valid Brazilian driver’s license category B, defensive driving certification, and willingness to travel as required by the role.
**ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)**
* Knowledge of Power BI;
* Postgraduate degree or MBA in a related field.

Nova Rota do Oeste is the concessionaire responsible for the 850.9 km stretch of BR\-163 between Itiquira (MT) and Sinop (MT). The company assumed the concession for BR\-163/364 in Mato Grosso.
